Our next "customer of the moment" slot goes to two of Black Duck's all time favorite patrons, Moe and Arlene Oberman. It is hard to describe this dynamic duo in words but the ones that come to mind are hysterical, brilliant, humble, and down right dirty... well, you know what I mean. Moe and Arlene have been Black Duckers since the beginning of time and when they are in the shop their presence is made known and their humor is contagious. With mugs in their hands and the dogs at their feet, they sit in the cafe and talk about art, poetry, politics, food, past, present, and everything in between. The cause many tears and belly aches... not because their are cruel or contagious, but because they are gut wrenchingly funny and witty... just hear what they have to say when they were asked what they love about the Black Duck and you will understand:

" Um...ah...I'll think about it. Okay, I would say I love the social ambiance, the gift items, the coffee, the costumers, the knitting... the knitting of browse and the fantastic educational and witty raporte' of the patrons and staff (obviously all from central casting)." -Arlene

Nowo Radomsko the "Black Duck"

has them all beat hands down    

for the ambiance, terrific

coffee and classy object d'arte...  

and the women. Ah, the women...

  Barbara Stanley is the epitome of a Black Ducker! Everyday she comes to the Black Duck before the mail to get her hot latte and sit in the cafe to knit, chat, and give her opinion on what is happening around town. She is loved by not only the employees but also the Black Duck canines! She always begins her visit with feeding Mandy and Maya a couple of dog biscuits. There isn't a more appropriate first "Customer of the Moment" then the one and only, Barbara Stanley.
